Permanent Nanny
A permanent nanny's rate is based on experience, qualifications and duties of the position.  As a guide you should expect to pay $20-$25 per hour for a permanent nanny.  

Casual Nanny / Babysitter
 There are two rates for casual nannies, based on the hour of the day.
Between 6am and 8pm, the rate is $20 per hour
Between 8pm and 6am, the rate is $18 per hour 

Mummy Nanny
A mummy nanny's rate is based on experience, qualifications and by the duties of the position.  As a guide you should expect to pay $14-$16 per hour for a mummy nanny. 

Live-in Nanny
A live-in nanny's rate is based on experience, qualifications, accommodation provided and by the duties of the position.  As a guide you should expect to pay $16-$18 per hour for a live-in nanny. 

Live-in Weekend or Holiday Nanny - sole charge
This is a short term nanny usually required if the parents are away on business or holiday. Rates are based on
experience, qualifications and by the duties of the position.  As a guide you should expect to pay $250 - $300 per 24 hour period.
