I know I can do things better and smarter and I’m committed to trying to make a positive change so that I can free up more time for ‘living’ and enjoy my life, my friends, my family and my children.
I just feel like I need MORE TIME. So, what if there was a magic wand to give me more hours per month. What would I do?
Exercise is really important to me and is usually the first to go when I’m time-poor. However it is important as it keeps me fit and healthy so I have lots of energy and it also gives me a clear head. Apart from that I usually go for a walk or run or go to the gym so it’s some ‘me’ time – time to do something for myself to put me in the right head space to take on the daily tasks of normal life.
I’d also like to spend some quality time with family and friends. Take the kids out for a bike ride or to the playground without trying to rush them and treat it like just another job. It would be nice to enjoy the time and maybe even take a picnic to make a proper morning out of it.
I’d like to meet friends for coffee or lunch so that I can really catch up and talk them instead of a quick text message or chat on the school playground.
There are also a few projects around the house that I’d really like to do and they are also things that I enjoy. I’d like to organise all my photos and get them transferred to digital and make up some nice photo books.
I’d also love to organise my children’s art and school books and keep the main pieces as a snapshot to look back on. But again it’s an enjoyable but time consuming job.
